Baltimore-based investment management firm T Rowe Price has announced the appointment of Mike Della Vedova to its global investment services arm.

Working in London, Mr Vedova will work as a European high yield analyst and member of the global high yield team and will be focusing on European sub-investment grade corporate credits.

“Mike is a talented analyst with particular expertise in European high yield. His appointment further strengthens our global fixed income team and reinforces our continuing commitment to developing our European presence,” said Ian Kelson, head of global fixed income.

Prior to this appointment, Mr Vedova was a partner at Four Quarter Capital a corporate credit project, and worked for six years as a senior analyst and assistant portfolio manager at Muzinich and Co, a European high yield money manager.

T Rowe Price has £192 billion ($315 billion) in assets under management as of 31 June 2009.
