London-based Octopus Investments has appointed Neil Buckland as head of relationship management and partnerships.

In his new role Buckland assumes responsibility for establishing and overseeing the strategic focus of the firm's sales team. He will also be responsible for the leadership of the relationship management and partner teams.

Buckland joins Octopus from Zurich Intermediary Group, where he was an area sales director responsible for IFA sales in the southern UK region.
