Lombard Odier Darier Hentsch has taken a 20 per cent share of DekaBank(Swiss) private bank in Zurich, the private banking subsidiary of German financial firm, DekaBank. The move is designed to cement a growing relationship between Lombard Odier and DekaBank’s Swiss private banking business. “Both partners have shown the commitment towards each other with this move and stand behind the common product strategies and business philosophy,” said Patrick Odier, a managing partner at Lombard. Cooperation between the banks stretches back to 1997 when they both launched the “privatportfolio” product for Swiss and German clients.
