The new head of sales for Switzerland has had a career spanning 25 years in senior roles at prominent asset managers.
Lombard Odier Investment Managers (LOIM), the institutional asset management business of the Lombard Odier Group, has appointed Jenö Szabo (pictured) as LOIM’s head of sales for Switzerland. Based in Zurich, he will report to Bettina Ducat, co-head, LOIM.
Szabo joined LOIM in December 2025, as the firm continues to strengthen its distribution platform in Switzerland and increase its Swiss domestic market share across all asset classes. As head of sales for Switzerland, he is responsible for developing the firm’s distribution proposition across Geneva and Zurich, strengthening partnerships and delivering solutions tailored to the needs of Lombard Odier’s institutional and wholesale clients.
Szabo has built a career spanning senior roles at prominent asset management firms, Capital Group and Wellington Management. He spent over 13 years at Capital Group as a business developer and relationship manager, followed by 12 years at Wellington Management as a managing director, where he oversaw client relationships and business development. Szabo also served as CEO of Wellington’s Zurich office and vice chair of the Board.
“Jenö combines deep knowledge of the Swiss institutional market with strong team leadership and client relationship skills,” Ducat said. “His extensive experience, along with his entrepreneurial mindset, will be key to strengthening our partnerships and delivering innovative solutions that meet our clients’ needs. We are delighted to welcome him.”
