Lombard Odier Investment Managers has hired Richard Walsh from BlueCrest Capital Management as head of emerging market debt, continuing the expansion of its fixed income operations.

Walsh’s prior career includes roles at GLG Partners and Saloman Brothers. In his new position he will report to Stéphane Monier, global head of fixed income and currencies.

Lombard Odier has been expanding its fixed income team of late, and over the last year has added David Callahan as head of money, Gregor MacIntosh as head of rates, Kevin Corrigan as head of credit, and Cyril Caillault as head of quantitative portfolio management.
