LODH Plans Swiss Expansion

Geneva-based Lombard Odier Darier Hentsch is looking to expand in western Switzerland, in the canton of Vaud, according to a statement from the bank. The firm has doubled its assets under management in the past two years to over SFr5 billion in the region, with private clients accounting for around a third of the total. LODH plans to extend its Lausanne-based network to all of French-speaking Switzerland. It plans to give the network what it describes as considerable autonomy in decision-making, and with the backing of the management resources developed at Lausanne. "There is enormous potential for expansion in the different French-speaking cantons," said Anne-Marie de Weck, a managing partner of LODH, who is responsible for the bank’s expansion in French-speaking Switzerland. "Our ambition is for the Lausanne branch to complement our head office in Geneva, by enhancing our offer and thus constantly improving our ability to meet the expectations of all of French-speaking Switzerland. Our size positions us favourably in this respect." This year LODH celebrates 125 years of doing business in Lausanne.
