Following approval from the Czech national bank, the Lombard Odier Darier Hentsch Group has become the first Swiss firm of private bankers to open a representative office in the Czech Republic. The office will be headed up by Nicolas Fitaire, who has spent much of his career in the wealth management field in Central Europe. “The remarkable economic growth of the Czech Republic over recent years has made it a key center of economic activity in the region,” said Arnaud Leclercq, a Partner of the Group Holding Company with responsibility for the countries of Central and Eastern Europe. “Setting up an office in Prague is a natural step in a flourishing country with numerous opportunities,” said Mr Fitaire. The group’s services will be targeted particularly at Czech family entrepreneurs.
