Lombard Odier Darier Hentsch has appointed Charles O’Ferrall as chief operating officer of Lombard Odier Darier Hentsch (UK). Mr O’Ferrall joins from Alta Advisers, the family office of Hans Rausing, where he has worked as COO since 1996. From 2004 to 2007 he was also chief executive officer of Nyland, the family office of Lisbet Rausing. He has also been involved in the setting up of a number of family networks and organisations in recent years such as the European Family Office Alliance. Prior to these roles, he was chief accountant of Fennoscandia Bank (a Swedish-Finnish JV) from 1987 to 1996. Mr O’Ferrall will report to the UK chief executive, Sally Tennant, and will be based in Lombard Odier Darier Hentsch’s new London office in Mayfair.
