Lloyds Loses Private Banking MD

Tom Woolgrove is to leave the post of managing director of UK private banking at Lloyds Banking Group in order to join RBS Insurance as managing director, personal lines in April this year.
In his new role Mr Woolgrove will be responsible for household and life, motor, pricing and underwriting; he will be working alongside Paul Geddes, chief executive at RBS Insurance.
Mr Woolgrove is currently responsible for private banking and wealth planning across the UK businesses at Lloyds Banking Group. Prior to joining Lloyds he was a managing director at HBOS General Insurance, with responsibility for all personal lines insurance.
“Tom is an excellent addition to our team and his specific experience in personal lines insurance will be invaluable as we drive a joined-up strategic agenda across the personal lines categories,” said Mr Geddes.
At the time of publication, Lloyds Banking Group was not available to comment on Mr Woolgrove’s departure.
