Lloyds Chair Calls Time On Aberdeen Non-Exec Role

Lloyds Banking Group deputy chair Anita Frew has stepped down as senior non-executive director of Aberdeen Asset Management.

Lloyds Banking Group deputy chair Anita Frew has stepped down as senior non-executive director of Aberdeen Asset Management.

Frew will be replaced on a temporary basis by Simon Troughton and is currently trying to find a long term replacement.  She has been on the board of the asset manager since 2004 and was formerly head of equity investment at Scottish Provident.

Aberdeen also announced in a seperate trading statement that its net outflows slowed to just £1.7 billion ($2.76 billion) for the two months to the end of August compared to £8.8 billion in the three months to the end of June.
