Liechtenstein Bank Proposes New Board Members, To Re-Elect Chairman

Liechtensteinische Landesbank has proposed to elect three new boardroom members and to re-elect its chairman.

Markus Foser, Markus Büchel and Roland Oehri have been proposed as new members, and Dr Hans-Werner Gassner has been proposed for a further term of office. The election will take place on 25 March.

On 8 May Dr Michael Ritter (vice chairman of the board of directors), Helmuth Elkuch and Peter Harald Frommelt will step down from the board.

Dr Gassner has been chairman since 2006. Mr Foser has held a number of senior positions, working at LL between 1997 and 2002, also holding positions at Bank Vontobel, Banque Pasche ( Liechtenstein). Mr Büchel has worked at firms including ThyssenKrupp Presta.

Mr Oehri has been employed by various financial institutes in Liechtenstein, Luxembourg and Switzerland. He was assistant director at LOPAG Louis Oehri & Partner Trust and a partner and managing director of Sequoia Treuhand Trust and Sequoia Capital Management.
