LGT Wealth India Names Equities CIO

The CIO has more than two decades of asset management experience in areas such as equity research.
LGT Wealth India, part of LGT, has appointed Harsh Agarwal
(main photo) as chief investment officer for its equities
business. Most recently, he had been president, specialised
investment funds, at 360 ONE Asset, the Indian financial services
group.
Agarwal will lead the firm's equity investment platform and the
investments team, driving the development of investment
products and blending investment strategies.
He has more than 20 years’ experience across asset management,
hedge funds, proprietary trading and equity research. At 360 ONE
Asset, Agarwal was responsible for developing and managing
specialised investment strategies. Prior to that, Agarwal was
head of alternative strategies at Tata Asset Management.
LGT Wealth India is majority owned by LGT, the
Liechtenstein-headquartered group that had total client assets
under management of $487 billion at the end of last year.
