The firm is looking to expand its operations to clients with global interests.

Privately-owned wealth manager LGT Vestra has appointed Valentina Tacchino as head of international. This appointment is part of LGT Vestra’s long-term plan to serve the needs of its clients with global interests, it said.

At LGT Vestra, Tacchino will build an international team and strengthen cooperation with LGT international offices, the firm said in a statement. 

Tacchino joins LGT Vestra from Kleinwort Benson, where she spent five years setting up and developing the international team looking after UK-resident non-domiciled clients, as well as international clients. 

Prior to Kleinwort Benson,Valentina spent seven years at the London office of Clariden Leu, where she was head of the UK-resident non-domiciled team. Valentina joined Clariden Leu from Schroders Private Banking, where she spent 11 years.

LGT Vestra has around £9 billion ($11.95 billion) in assets under management.
