LGIM Names New CFO

Legal and General Investment Management, the UK-based asset management firm, has appointed Siobhan Boylan as chief financial officer, subject to regulatory approval.

As CFO at LGIM, Boylan has been appointed to an "expanding role", a spokesperson at the firm told this publication.

Reporting to chief executive Mark Zinkula, Boylan joins LGIM from Aviva North America, where she was latterly CFO, responsible for the firm’s US and Canadian finance functions, based in Chicago. Before that, she held a number of senior finance roles within the Aviva Group and was CFO of Aviva Investors between 2007 and 2011.

LGIM managed £406 billion (around $622 billion) in assets under management, for more than 3,100 clients, as at 31 December 2012.
