Legal & General Investment Management, the UK-based asset management firm, has appointed Honor Solomon as head of retail distribution, Europe and Middle East, reporting to Mike Craston, global head of distribution.

Legal & General Investment Management, the UK-based asset management firm, has appointed Honor Solomon as head of retail distribution, Europe and Middle East, reporting to Mike Craston, global head of distribution.

Solomon joins from BlackRock, where she was a managing director, responsible for overseeing sales and client relationships. Before joining BlackRock she worked on the business development team at Merrill Lynch Investment Managers.

“This is an important new appointment for LGIM in what is a fast changing, rapidly expanding business area. Honor will take the lead role in overseeing our retail strategy across EMEA, where she has extensive experience of business development and relationship management,” said Craston.
