Lazard Frères Gestion has strengthened its Paris-based wealth management team with the appointment of Sophie de Nadaillac and Jean-Marie Combes as managing director and private banker respectively.

Latterly head of wealth management development at Lazard Frères Gestion, de Nadaillac joined the Lazard Group in 1995.

Combes was latterly at Rothschild & Cie as a private banker and prior to this at CDC Ixis Private Capital Management. In her new role she will work in the team managed by de Nadaillac, focusing on development.

The firm has been ramping up its hiring, most recently appointing Jean-Jacques de Gournay and Matthieu Grouès as associates, François-Marc Durand to be in charge of fund management activities in France and François de Saint-Pierre, head of wealth management activities in France.
