Law firm lifts out estates group

Kaye Sholer plunders cross-town rival Simpson Thatcher. Law firm Kaye Sholer has lifted out cross-town rival Simpson Thatcher & Bartlett ’s wills and estates team, hiring former Simpson Thatcher senior counsel David Stoll and three associates in a bid to bolster its private-client-service roster.
“We are excited that David and his team have joined us,” says Barry Willner, Kaye Scholer's managing partner. “The caliber of his practice will allow us to continue to strengthen our involvement in all phases of personal planning for our clients.”
Stoll will help clients in complex estate planning, trust administration, estate administration and charitable giving. The new associates are Katherine Bennett, Bich-Nga Nguyen and Marceline Mosio.
Kaye Sholer is a 89-year-old firm with about 500 attorneys representing public and private companies, governmental bodies, financial institutions and other organizations around the world.
