Law Firm Boodle Hatfield Says Revenues Almost Break £50 Million Barrier

The results are to some extent a barometer of the private client legal sector more broadly – one that benefits from the complexities of HNW individuals with domestic and cross-border concerns.
London-headquartered private wealth law firm Boodle Hatfield said
yesterday that it has logged a 15 per cent year-on-year
gain in revenues for the 2025/26 financial year, reaching £49.5
million ($66.3 million).
Boodle Hatfield also said that it has achieved a 70 per cent
revenue growth pace in the last five years and is now on track to
double its revenue from 10 years ago.
As the UK government has expanded the inheritance tax net,
removed the resident non-domicile system and made other changes,
it has put private client law firms in the frame as they work
with HNW individuals and families to navigate the new
territory.
“It is rewarding to see our strategic focus on private capital
and key practice areas deliver such strong financial
performance,” Andrea Zavos, senior partner, said in s statement
yesterday.
“Delivering double-digit growth against a turbulent macroeconomic
backdrop is testament to our talented and versatile team and a
reflection of the whole firm’s dedication to excellent client
service delivery,” Zavos added.
The private client legal field has prospered amidst a rise in
wealth in the UK. Among recent developments, Taylor Wessing
has agreed
to merge with US-based Winston &
Strawn to create Winston Taylor, a transatlantic law firm
with a total of more than 1,400 lawyers.
