A new partner and associate have been named at law firm Boodle Hatfield in its private client and property team.

Amanda O’Keeffe becomes a residential property partner at the firm, moving from Speedy Bircham where she served as a partner in its private client property group.

In her new role, she will advise UK and international clients on landlord and tenant matters, as well as the acquisitions and disposals of residential and agricultural property. She was appointed on 3 February.

Kate Rees-Doherty joined Boodle Hatfield as private client and tax associate earlier this year. She brings her experience in UK and offshore advising to the firm, following her previous role as associate at Herbert Smith Freehills.

The pair’s appointment comes as Boodle Hatfield aims to strengthen its position in domestic and international markets.

Boodle Hatfield is a 32-partner law firm, which practises from offices in central London and Oxford. Its main departments are property, private client and tax, corporate, family and litigation.
