Laurel Hill Advisory Group, a US corporate governance advisory firm working with investors, has appointed Samuel Berrios as senior vice president.

Berrios was previously the deputy chief operating officer and executive vice president at Georgeson Shareholder Communications, where he oversaw the investor relations and shareholder servicing division. He has over 20 years of experience in the corporate and mutual fund proxy solicitation sector and has worked with both Fortune 500 firms and large mutual fund entities, the firm said in a statement.
