Kuwait, Egypt Sign DTA
Kuwait and Egypt have signed a bilateral agreement on double taxation, updating a previous DTA signed in May 2006.
The agreement was signed by the director of the tax policy and planning department at the Kuwait Ministry of Finance, Hamed Hamad Al-Nasser, and the Egyptian undersecretary of the Ministry of Finance, Dr Mustafa Mahmoud Abdulqader.
The new DTA will bring both countries’ bilateral tax relations in line with the OECD model.
