Kurtosys Eyes North American Market; Makes Top Hire

London-headquartered Kurtosys Systems, which provides tools to the asset management industry, has appointed Jeff Hendren as president, with a view to growing the firm's business in North America, as well as globally.

Hendren will be based in the firm's New York office. He joins from PerTrac and has also held roles at Reuters and Multex.

Hendren said that research carried out for JP Morgan, a client of the firm, found that over 60 per cent of respondents to a survey said reporting was the most important factor when selecting a wealth manager.

"With the same report citing poor or irregular communication as one of the main reasons for client dissatisfaction, the role for efficient digital reporting has never been stronger,” said Hendren.

Kurtosys has additional offices in New York and San Francisco, CA; Cape Town, South Africa; Gurgaon, India and Manila, Philippines.
