KKR Adds To European Office Network

KKR, one of the world's biggest private markets investment firms, had $367 billion in assets under management as at the end of March this year.

Kravis Roberts, or KKR, the investment firm, has opened a new
office in Stockholm, Sweden,
The office will represent all KKR investment platforms, including
private equity, infrastructure, technology and healthcare growth,
impact, real estate and credit, across the Nordics.
KKR has invested more than €5 billion of equity in over 22
transactions in the Nordic regions, the US-listed firm said. In
the last two years, KKR has made seven investments in the Nordics
including Söderberg & Partners, Sector Alarm, Wolt, Nordic
Bioscience, Caruna, Avida and a residential real estate joint
venture in Denmark.
The office will be led by Hans Arstad, a KKR director. Carl
Lithander, MD at the firm in the client and partner group, will
also be based in Stockholm.
Stockholm marks KKR’s ninth office in Europe and the Middle East,
in addition to Paris, Frankfurt, Madrid, Dublin, Luxembourg,
London, Dubai and Riyadh.
