London-based Key Asset Management is launching the Key Special Situations Fund, a single-strategy hedge fund to be managed by James Morton and George Garafas from CIM Investment Management. Key says the new fund will aim for annualised returns of more than 20 per cent by investing in global equity markets and distressed debt, with a primary focus on natural resources, technology and distressed securities. With offices in London, Oslo, Geneva, Stockholm and New York, Key currently has approximately $1.5 billion in assets under management and advises a range of clients including pension funds and private investors.
