Swiss wealth manager Julius Baer has signed a two-year deal with Abu Dhabi Golf Club to sponsor all its major social events, as well as supporting certain playing tournaments throughout the year. Julius Baer is leveraging the strategic partnership to raise awareness of its activities in Abu Dhabi. "This partnership is an important building block in the continuing expansion of Julius Baer Group and is critical in raising the profile of the bank to a high-calibre client base which is associated with ADGC," said Julius Baer executive director Peter Traber. Julius Baer is the third and final Diamond sponsor of the club, along with BMW's Abu Dhabi Motors and Etihad Airways - the national carrier of the UAE - which signed in 2007.
