Julius Baer Opens Multi-Manager Stocks Fund To Swiss Investors

Swiss private bank Julius Baer has opened one of its equity portfolios, the J B Global Selection Fund, to Swiss investors.

The Luxembourg-domiciled fund combines the experience of Julius Baer’s team of more than 20 equity specialists in a single product. Each of the managers picks a stock for the joint portfolio. Depending on their prevailing market assessments, the portfolio managers can also opt to hold cash, Julius Baer said in a statement.

Scilla Huang Sun, head of equities at Julius Baer, said: “Each of our equity specialists has their personal favourites depending on the market. We are now bundling these firm convictions together, and making the resultant product available to all investors.”

The fund’s base currency is in the euro and available also in dollars and Swiss francs.
