JTC Group Granted Cayman Island Licence To Widen Client Services

Jersey-based JTC Group has strengthened its global footprint as it has been granted a licence to provide a full client offering in the Cayman Islands.
Jersey-based JTC
Group has been granted a licence to provide a full client
offering in the Cayman Islands.
The firm, which already established an alliance office on the
island in 2013, will now be able to offer private client,
corporate, fund and real estate services there, it said in a
statement.
The office will be overseen by Stuart Pinnington, group head of
corporate services, and will establish and service
Cayman-domiciled funds, as well as listings of securities on the
Cayman Islands Stock Exchange.
It will continue to operate its other services such as company
incorporation and administration services, and the provision of
directors to companies and regulated funds. This aligns with the
firm’s goal to grow its fund practice.
Pinnington described the addition as “necessary”, as the Cayman
Islands has become an increasingly popular service centre amongst
its clients, who are predominantly based in Asia and the Middle
East.
Last week, JTC Group opened its second representative office in
New York City. The firm intends to use this office as a gateway
to the Latin American market where it already has bases in
Argentina and Brazil.
