JP Morgan Private Bank Names Asia Chief Investment Strategist

JP Morgan Private Bank has hired a former Goldman Sachs executive to lead its Asian strategy team.

Fan Jiang is joining the firm as Asia chief investment strategist, based in Hong Kong. Jiang was previously with Goldman Sachs, where he spent almost 20 years, most recently as the chief investment officer for its private wealth management business in the Asia-Pacific region. Before that, he was part of the fixed income division, where he built the Asia credit strategy and trading team.

In his new role, he will develop and implement investment strategy and tailor it for clients in Asia, alongside teams in the US, EMEA and Latin America. He reports directly to Richard Madigan, chief investment officer.

JP Morgan Private Bank has Asian offices in Hong Kong and Singapore.
