JP Morgan Picks Powers, Frommer
JP Morgan has appointed John Powers as chief trust officer and Jacqueline Frommer as global head of specialty practices within its private banking business.
Based in New York, Mr Powers will be responsible for overseeing the trust administration for JP Morgan’s trust business in the US.
Mr Powers rejoins JP Morgan from Citi Trust, where he most recently served as head of the US region, overseeing Citi's trusts and estates business for both Citi Private Bank and Smith Barney. Before joining Citi, Mr Powers was a senior fiduciary officer at JP Morgan’s Private Bank.
Ms Frommer joins from Lehman Brothers/Barclays Capital where she was global chief administrative officer of private investment management, and chief operating officer of the trust company.
Ms Frommer will be responsible for specialty practices which includes the tax, closely held asset management and estate settlement groups, as well as international fiduciary services.
