JP Morgan AM Names New EMEA Head Of Fixed Income Strategies

JP Morgan Asset Management has appointed Maria Ryan as EMEA head of fixed income strategies to its global fixed income business.

Asset Management has appointed Maria Ryan as EMEA head of
fixed income strategies to its global fixed income business,
replacing Charles McKenzie, who left earlier this year.
The bank has also appointed Zsolt Papp in the newly-created role
of global head of emerging markets debt client portfolio
strategies, reporting to Ryan.
Ryan will manage a team of client portfolio managers and is
responsible for client relationships across EMEA, reporting to
Meg McClellan, global head of market strategies for fixed income
and Liquidity.
She joined JP Morgan in 2013 as a client advisor with the UK
Institutional team from Wellington Management, where she was an
associate director of fixed income and a relationship manager in
Wellington’s global relationship group. Before this, she was a
managing director in BlackRock’s fixed income team and an
investment director with Henderson Global Investors’ fixed income
team.
She began her career at JP Morgan Asset Management, where she
worked as a global fixed income portfolio manager, client
portfolio manager and a relationship manager.
Papp joins from Union Bancaire Privee, where he was Senior
Product Specialist for emerging market debt, based in Zurich. He
has previously worked as an emerging market economist/strategist
at various banks, including ABN AMRO and UBS.
Last month, JP Morgan Asset Management appointed John Bilton as
head of the global strategy team, replacing Neil Nuttall, who
left earlier this year. Based in London, Bilton reports to James
Elliot, chief investment officer at the international investment
management solutions global multi-asset group.
