JP Morgan AM Loses Investment Trusts Chief

David Barron is leaving his London-based post as head of investment trusts at JP Morgan Asset Management after 18 years at the firm.  

Barron joined JP Morgan Asset Management in 1995 and became head of investment trusts in 2003, having previously served as director of the product development group.

The firm declined to comment on Barron’s reason for departure but did say that a replacement will be announced in due course.

JP Morgan Asset Management has 21 investment trusts with £6.6 billion (about $10.5 billion) in assets under management.
