JP Morgan AM Adds Two To Tax Aware Fixed Income Team

JP Morgan Asset Management has announced two additions to its tax aware fixed income group.

Margaret Byrne and Priscilla Hancock step in to focus on the company's growing municipal strategies capabilities, particularly on product and strategy development and client relationship management.

Byrne, who steps in from Financial Security Assistance, where she was managing director for portfolio management, will be the senior relationship manager for high net worth clients. Hancock, who was previously the managing director for strategy and market developemnt for the likes of Standard & Poor's and Moody's Analytics, will be working on building JP Morgan AM's asset management operations.

JP Morgan Asset Management has approximately $38 billion in long-term municipal assets as of 30 September 2010. Overall, it has around $1.8 trillion in assets under supervision and $1.3 trillion in assets under management.
