JP Morgan's Private Banking Arm Hires For West, East Coast

The private bank of JP Morgan has hired Tyson Reed and Adam Hartzell as private bankers in its Boston and Seattle offices, respectively, according to the Wall Street Journal.

Reed previously worked at US Trust, Bank of America's private wealth management unit, since 2001. He will be a managing director and senior private banker, reporting to Marc White, chief executive of JP Morgan's New England Private Bank.

Hartzell was hired from Cheuvreux Calyon Securities in New York, where he specialized in European equities and other international investment products. He will be a vice president and private banker, reporting to Stephen Kutz, head of the Pacific Northwest for JP Morgan Private Bank.
