Qatar-based Doha Bank has signed an alliance with India’s Indusind Bank to target wealthy expatriates, especially the non-resident Indian market, in Qatar. Abdul Rehman al Meer, executive manager of Doha Bank, said the alliance would enhance the bank’s wealth management capability and advisory services on investment, taxation, real estate and portfolio management services. Local and international banks are increasingly gearing up their services for the wealthy NRI market in the Middle East, as the market expands considerably.
