The London-based investment manager has replaced its long-serving Yorkshire office head.

JM Finn & Co has appointed Andrew Aitken as head of its Yorkshire office.

Aitken joins after nine years at UBS Wealth Management, where he was executive director and regional head, according to his LinkedIn profile. He has worked in the investment management industry since 1997 both in London and in his native Yorkshire. 

He will take over the regional management responsibilities from investment director David Barstow, while supporting the firm’s business development efforts.

“His experience and enthusiasm will help us enormously and allow me, after 11 happy years as head of the office, to focus solely on managing my clients’ investment portfolios,” said Barstow.

JM Finn & Co has had a presence in Yorkshire since 2002. It has a team of eight investment managers, with nearly £500 million ($642 million) of client funds under management and administration.
