JHS Capital Advisors, a dual-registered broker/dealer and RIA, has hired Kelly Connelly as a financial advisor and first vice president of investments at its new office in Sebring, FL.

Connelly has 17 years of experience in the financial services industry and oversees $70 million in client assets. Her areas of expertise include estate planning, retirement income, life insurance and serving female entrepreneurs. She joined Bank of America Merrill Lynch in 1996, having previously worked in broadcasting.

JHS has 70 offices across the US and oversees a total of $3.3 billion in client assets - an increase of 57 per cent since the end of December, when it was $2.1 billion.

Scott Bendert, president and chief executive, said the firm remains focused on its strategic plan to grow via acquisitions, recruiting and internal business expansion.
