Jersey-Headquartered JTC Group Continues Expansion

Jersey-headquartered JTC Group, which has recently expanded via an acquisition, announced two senior appointments in its technology and marketing operations.

recently expanded via an acquisition, announced two senior
appointments in its technology and marketing operations.
Adam Jeffries, who was previously global head of IT operations at
Appleby, has joined in Jersey as chief information officer and
David Vieira, who was head of marketing at Jersey Finance (the
promotional agency for the island’s financial sector), has been
appointed group head of business development and marketing.
A few days before, JTC acquired a “substantial book” of private client business from Herald Trust Company, taking on 27 Herald directors and staff to its offices and building on other recent expansion. The Herald staff are being transferred to JTC Group’s offices in St Helier to ensure continuity of service.
JTC made a number of acquisitions last year and is present in 15 jurisdictions. Acquisitions and alliances including the purchase of Guernsey based Ardel Fund Services in April last year, a strategic alliance with Kensington Trust Group and the acquisition of both Ardel Trust Company (Switzerland) SA based in Geneva and of Anson Fund Managers Limited, which has offices in Guernsey and the UK. JTC Group was founded in 1987.
