Jersey begins risk-based supervision data collection

The Jersey Financial Services Commission has embarked on the first phase of its risk-based supervision data collection project, requiring reporting entities to complete questionnaires.

The standardised questionnaire is in Microsoft Excel format and accessible for download at the myJFSC portal. The JFSC has also issued guidelines to help firms complete it. They should then use the portal to submit it to the regulator.

As an added help, the JFSC has a list of 'frequently asked questions' on its website and it expects to update this frequently during the data submission period as firms send their questions in.

Reporting entities must complete and submit the documents for this first phase by 25 April.
