Jersey's Bedell Trust Makes Splash Of Appointments

The trust company, which provides services including private wealth management and family office, has welcomed a host of directors, senior managers and trust officers.

Jersey-headquartered Bedell Trust has made a flurry of appointments including in its private wealth management team.

Prapa Pearce, a fellow of the Association of Chartered Certified Accountants and a member of the Chartered Institute of Taxation, has joined the private wealth management team as trust director. She brings almost 20 years' experience in international financial services, during which she has served as a tax specialist and as director at a major local trust company for nine years.

Meanwhile, Tim Trott, who joined Bedell in 2011, has been promoted to associate director in the London office and Amy Collins, who joined in January this year from Grant Thornton, has been promoted to associate director with Bedell Family Office.

Other promotions include Emma Seal, Samantha Guy and Alice Gouyet from the firm's private wealth team, who are now senior trust officers in Jersey alongside Tara Dufty in London. Meanwhile, Emma Le Boutillier has been appointed senior fund administrator. Jersey-based Kristy Nicolle, Jenna Murphy and Catherine Bell have also been promoted to new fund administration roles, while Gemma Esterson takes on the role of trust officer.

“In the last 12 months, we have continued to make significant progress across all our business lines including an expanded presence in Asian markets, following the acquisition of a majority stake in Singapore Trust Company and renewed investment in IT systems and software to both enhance efficiencies and reinforce our commitment to premium client service,” said the chief executive of Bedell Trust, Nick Cawley.

“Further developments are planned as we position ourselves as an award winning market leader in the provision of fiduciary, funds and corporate services to clients worldwide.”
