JBWere Tees Off At PGA Masters

In a sign that there remains continuing interest in key sponsorships despite the global financial crisis, Australian Masters owner and promoter IMG announced that Australian wealth management firm JBWere has agreed to a partnership for its upcoming golf tournament.

"JBWere is regarded as one of Australia's pre-eminent investment and wealth management companies and we are excited to form an alliance and marketing partnership with a brand and organisation that enjoys such a wonderful tradition and business reputation," said David Rollo, vice president-director of golf for IMG Australia in a statement.

JBWere has recently made the news after announcing that it will be operating under a strategic partnership between key international banking and investment players National Australia Bank and Goldman Sachs JBWere.

The event, aptly called the JBWere Masters, will showcase the world's top golfing talents at the Kingston Heath Golf Club on 12 to 15 November. Expected talents to take part in the four-day tournament include world number one Tiger Woods, Geoff Ogilvy and Rod Pampling.
