James Hay Partnership Announces New COO

James Hay Partnership has named David Page as its new chief operating officer.

The UK's James Hay Partnership, a platform for retirement wealth planning, has appointed David Page as its new chief operating officer.

Page will take the reins from Peter Burtonshaw. His appointment is one of the many in recent weeks by wealth management firms which are looking to capitalise on demand for retirement planning – the British pension reform came into force last month to grant individuals more freedom to control the money in their retirement pots.

“I look forward to welcoming David to the business on Monday and know, given his extensive platform market experience, that he will add tremendous value, building on the solid foundations already laid by Peter Burtonshaw,” said the company's chief executive, Alastair Conway.

In a similar move, Standard Life last week appointed David Tiller as head of advisor propositions and strategy.

James Hay Partnership currently manages over £16 billion ($24 billion) of pension and investment savings.
