Isle of Man Appoints Banking And Fiduciaries Head

The centre's marketing and advisory agency has named a new head for banking and fiduciaries.
Finance Isle of Man has appointed Paul Blake as head of banking and fiduciaries at the Isle of Man Department for Enterprise based in Douglas. Blake was previously chief operating officer at Quinn Legal and DQ Advocates, two established legal firms on the island. Prior to that, he worked as a senior manager in corporate banking at Lloyds Banking Group, also on the Island.
Finance Isle of Man is the executive arm set up to support and promote financial services on the island. The public-private partnership draws from sector expertise across the centre.
Chief executive Michael Crowe said the role will target new opportunities to support local business and “secure a positive future for financial and professional services in the Isle of Man.”
Blake - a 20-year finance veteran - is joining the agency from boutique trust and corporate service provider Fiducs Ltd, a specialist in yachting and UHNW clients.
