Dublin-based stockbroker Davy has promoted Robbie Kelleher to run its private clients division. He is currently head of equity research. Mr Kelleher, a former Dublin footballer, will take over as head of investment strategy at the division in March, according to the Irish Examiner. Davy’s private client division has expanded rapidly in the last few years and accounts for about half of the firm's business. It employs 250 people and has €10 billion ($14.7 billion) in client funds under management. It provides clients with a range of wealth management services, including personalised portfolio construction, retirement and succession planning, as well as access to global investment opportunities in property, private equity and alternative asset classes. Mr Kelleher is one of the country’s most experienced equity analysts and has headed the Davy research team for three years.
