Ireland's Generali PanEurope Pushes Into The Swedish Market

Generali PanEurope, the Ireland-based wealth manager and insurance provider, has entered the Swedish market with a set of insurance-based savings and investment products available to high net worth clients.

The company’s Vision and Professional Portfolio products have been redesigned to suit the Swedish market, where they will be distributed through IFAs.

To help with the move, the firm has hired Mats Arousell as sales manager for Sweden. He joins from Direct Financial Services, part of Söderberg & Partners Group, the Swedish IFA and insurance group.

Generali PanEurope has had a presence in Sweden for eight years in the shape of a collaboration with Euro Accident, a Swedish life and health insurance company. The firm is part of Italy-headquartered Assicurazioni Generali.
