The Isle of Man has signed a Tax Information Exchange Agreement with India.

This is the second agreement to be signed by the island in the past week and its nineteenth TIEA altogether; the island has now signed 23 agreements that meet the OECD international standard on tax co-operation and transparency.

“The TIEA with India is further evidence of the Isle of Man’s continuing commitment to tax transparency and effective exchange of information,” said Manx treasury minister Anne Craine.
