FE, a provider of investment data and analytics software, has appointed Hon Wah Choi as director of business development and marketing for Asia, a newly created role, the firm told this publication.

He formerly used to work at Manulife International as an associate vice president of marketing and communications for Asia.  Prior to that, he spent nine years at Zurich International, latterly as head of marketing.

Hon Wah will be based in Hong Kong, where he will join FE’s nine-strong team.  FE opened its doors in Asia in 2006 and now has client service offices in both Hong Kong and Singapore. FE has offices in the UK, Europe and Asia Pacific. Its clients include life and pension providers, asset managers, financial advisors and networks, wrap platforms, fund supermarkets, software houses, financial portals and private investors.
