Wealth manager and private bank Investec Bank (Switzerland) has appointed Oliver Betz as general manager. He will assume overall responsibility for Investec’s Swiss banking operations. Part of his mandate is to build Investec’s distribution capabilities in Switzerland, with a specific focus on the bank’s wealth management and treasury services. Before joining Investec, he was at Goldman Sachs in Zurich, most recently as business unit manager of its private banking operation and a member of its management committee.
