Invesco Perpetual Makes Triple Fixed Interest Appointment

The investment house has welcomed a senior dealer, a credit analyst and a macro analyst within its Henley-on-Thames office.

Invesco Perpetual, part of New York-listed investment manager Invesco, has hired Gareth Dunsmore, Jessica Svantesson and Mark McDonnell within its UK-based fixed interest team.

Dunsmore joins as a senior dealer. He previously worked at Santander as a trader, specialising in sterling and euro corporate bonds. Before this, he worked within Paternoster's credit team.

Svantesson has been appointed as a technology, media and telecoms and infrastructure credit analyst. She joins from Moody’s Investors Service and previously served as an analyst at Bloomberg.

Lastly, McDonnell has been appointed as a macro analyst. He joins from HM Treasury, the UK tax authority, where he was an economist, working on a range of issues including monetary policy, international economics and fiscal policy. All three will be based in Henley-on-Thames.

“We have a market-leading fixed interest team in the UK that continues to grow and focus on delivering good long-term returns for our clients,” said Invesco Perpetual's co-head of fixed interest, Paul Causer.

“These appointments reflect the fact that, alongside developing the talent within our team, we continue to attract the best in the industry.”

As of the end of March, Invesco Perpetual managed assets of £28.6 billion ($44.8 billion).
