White & Case, the international law firm that specialises in the financial services industry, has expanded its global partner roster by 18, two of whom are in Asia.

Thomas J Benedict has been named partner in the global white collar practice based in Singapore. Benedict is qualified to practice in California and advises clients on corporate internal investigation and compliance matters, and US civil litigation. 

Meanwhile, joining the Beijing team is David Li as partner for the global banking practice. Li is qualified to practice in England, Wales and Singapore, and advises clients on private and public equity and debt financing transactions, with an emphasis on China-related transactions.

White & Case's Asian practice includes offices in Beijing, Hong Kong, Shanghai, Singapore and Tokyo.
