Since the start of 2013, Withers has hired seven partners across its Hong Kong and Singapore offices. The firm established itself in the region in 2008 and has not only opened two regional branches (Hong Kong in 2008 and Singapoer in 2012), but also appointed and relocated senior executives to aid the buildout, including moving Erik Wallace from the UK to lead the US tax and wealth planning team in Hong Kong and naming Rita Ku as its first Chinese partner.
